Sky Customer Services

As you might expect from a company that prides itself on making the latest technology accessible to everyone, even the Sky Customer Services department gives comprehensive coverage of everything you need to know about.

If you have any sort of question regarding Sky services, then the best place to start is on the web.  The Sky Help Centre provides information that tries to answer the most frequently asked questions, and makes it easy to find the information that you need by dividing the section up into relevant categories such as products, accounts, service status and several others.  These are further divided, so in the ‘Products’ section, for example, you will find that the help isn’t just limited to Sky TV but also covers broadband, sky Talk, Multiroom and every other service they provide.

When they give an answer to a question in this part of the website, they ask customers to rate the answer in terms of whether the issue was resolved, how easy it was to find the information and how easy to understand the answer.  This means that the answers are continually reviewed to make sure that they suit customers’ needs and make finding the information they need as easy as possible.

Obviously it isn’t always possible to access the website, and sometimes customers have a particular problem that isn’t covered by the pages.  It may also be that the customer doesn’t have a question or a problem, but just wants to change the package they have or request an upgrade.  In these cases, Sky provided a couple of ways of contacting a customer service representative who will be able to help.

The first thing that can be done is contact by email.  You’ll need to sign in using your Sky ID, and you will then be presented with a form to complete.  Use this to give Sky details of your enquiry and it will be emailed to a team member immediately.  They will then reply to your email with an appropriate response.

The second way of contacting Sky customer services is by telephone.  The help centre provides a list of telephone numbers, each of which relates to a different Sky contacts team specialising in certain areas.  There are numbers for the sales team for new customers, account team for product support or account queries, sports and movie ordering, and more.

The online help section should probably be the first port of call for anyone with a question or problem, and if the answer isn’t found there then an email should be the next choice.   If customers aren’t able to email, then contacting one of the customer service teams over the phone will get the answer.  However, customers should be aware that there are charges for the phone call and it is possible that they will have to wait to speak to a representative during busy periods, as other callers may also be in need of help.
